This is exactly what Cardiff has been waiting for and the whole of the South Wales since they pulled the plug on Wales only all day dance music festival Escape into the Park a few years back. Let’s just hope it can be an annual thing and keep growing and getting better each year and not knocked on the head like they did with the popular South West 4 event that used to take place in the same location and still attracts thousands to the London leg of the festival in Clapham each summer.

X Music Festival Cardiff headlined by Radio 1’s very own queen of dance music Annie Mac and takes place in the grounds of the capitals most iconic building Cardiff Castle in Bute Park! The X Music Festival takes place over two days on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th June 2015 with final tickets available for single days or both days with VIP tickets also available, which means there’s more chance of you getting some toilet roll to use if you caught short from a full day of chugging plastic pints of Turborg and hotdogs all day!

There isn’t just main stage goings on from headline acts like Hannah Wants and Jaguar Skills but there will be a the Mi Casa stage for some more underground acts with some of the hottest promoters in Cardiff and the South Wales and West area getting deep down and dirty with the likes of Memorex who I went to see at the Vaults with their NYE event with Delete and the cult following they’ve managed to attract from the summers Delete garden parties at the Gwdihŵ.

Then we have Apex and Disco Palace lending a hand for those who don’t like the more commercial stuff pumping out of the main stage.

Be quick though the early bird and standard tickets have all gone and they are down to the last few tickets for the first instalment of X Music Festival next to Cardiff Castle so get your tickets here.

The organisers of the recently successful colour festival at the same venue at Splott Market in Cardiff are back for some more daytime music mayhem for Welcome to the Warehouse Festival on Saturday 4th October.

The lineup is said to be pretty impressive with names soon to be released but you can now buy your tickets to the warehouse party from today Sunday 6th August from 6pm.

With this kind of a event a rare ocurance in the South Wales area this is no doubt going to sell out once the actual lineup is announced so don’t ponder on whether you should get your tickets to the Cardiff Warehouse Party too long.
